The West Bank and the Valley of the Kings

Valley of the Queens -- A fairly disappointing visit unless you see the recently restored tomb of Nefertari.
Tomb of Amenhotep II -- One of the most rewarding tombs in the Valley of the Kings.
Tomb of Rameses III-- A tomb with unusual architecture and some vivid paintings remaining.
Tomb of Rameses VI -- Perhaps the best tomb of the Ramessides, its vaulted ceiling is famous for its paintings of the Book of Day and the Book of Night.
Queen Hatshepsut's Mortuary Temple --The woman who would be pharaoh and her massive temple carved into the rock face.
Colossi of Memnon -- The guardians of Amenhotep III's mortuary temple. See their shattered remains.
