You're supposing there is a meaning. What if there is no meaning? What's if it's a big question, simply because there is no answer? In that case, doesn't it imply that there is no real purpose, and that, really, you can do what you wish? You owe no nothing, you are owed nothing. Do as you will. It is your life, and your's alone, and besides; a lot of people tend to believe that they are very important. I tend to believe that you really aren't, especially compared to everyone else.

Life has no point. Isn't it obvious? Physically, we will die, Planets will die, Stars will die. Devoured by chaos, then reborn. Emotionally, we create shallow attachments that fill us with momentary joy but eventually always gives us more pain the the momentary joys. And still more pain from everything else.. oh, sure, ther is one point. To learn and grow. Somehow, the experiances seem to enrich the divine, but I'd rather live in void to be perfecly honest. There is no such thing as one philosophy that encompasses the enigmatic meaning that is life. There will never be one person who discovers the meaning of life. This is because Human life is within the vast spectrum of life itself. We are part of the whole, therefore we can only understand the purpose or meaning of our own piece to the puzzle, that is ourselves. Every life is unique, no two lives are the exact same, therefore each life serves a different purpose, and if every life has a different purpose then every life has a different meaning. Only you can understand the meaning of your life. I'm only 15 but I think the meaning of life is to fulfill all your desiers, wether it be to find a soulmate or eternal partner, to become what you've always wanted or even to change the world. The only way life should be lived is with apreciation, even if you don't have everything you want you need to be glad for what you have as some people won't even have that. Many religious people like to say the meaning of life is God, which is all well and good. However, they can't fully explain God, which leaves them back where they started.
And then there are those who say that life has no meaning, which is a meaning in and of itself. And so to say that life has no meaning becomes quite the paradoxical statement.
There are also those who see pleasures or accomplishments as the meaning of life, but as the band Kansas once sang, 'All they are is dust in the wind.' They are present for ahile, and then they pass away.
We may never be able to answer the big question. But did anyone ever think that this inability to answer this question is the whole beauty of it all. There is this stange beauty in the unknown. After all, 'wisest is he who knows that he does notknow.'

i am entirely un sure. but i know when i step away from this extremely depressed life i live where there is only a dream that one day i might return to dust (if i am lucky) i find something incredibly funny about life itself and all of its meaningless confusion. i cannot usually laugh about anything in life becuase i just want to escape from it and i wish i was never born and i am only 18. but when i step back from this nightmare there is something so unbeliveably amusing and hilarious about life that i cannot not explain. my guess is that i really have gone insane, most likely from thinking about things like the meaning of life. i know i shouldnt and believe me i dont want to!! my brain does it for me! the subtle things in life are the meaningful things. i wish my brain would actually understand that.

The meaning of life is to be tested. God wants to see who is
good enough to be with him. If they arn't good enough then they
dont get to hang out with him after life....they get to hang out

In my eyes, the meaning of life is several things. To bond with
others, to make friends and love the one that makes us whole and
to enjoy the company of our family while they're here. Life was
not intended to be spent going through alone and it never should
be. It should be something that you can look back on when age

Maybe the meaning of life is different to every one. Maby we
are born just to die but what if deth is not the end at all...

do know that sooner or later, some of us are going to discover

In my own words, the meaning of life is... A test of decisions,
what ones to make and what ones not to make. If you look at it
this way then everything is based on decisions. For instince,
say i have a major exam coming up, will i study a week ahead or
wait until the last two or three days? You never know until you
make that decision, but once you do something you can not take
it back!!! So be careful what you do!
The question isn't "what is the meaning of life?", it's "what
meaning have YOU given to your life?"
There is none but we still need to have a system of morals and
values. Experience is the key to having a meaningful life so don't
destroy your life by being an idiot. Do what you feel is right

go to a local book store, avoid the science books, and head towards
religious, and find a Bible. There, you can find the Word of God.

I think and truly believe that the meaning of life comes from
deep within each and every persons soul. I believe that the definition
alone will differ from person to person depending on the quality
of life that the individuals have lived...For me the meaning of
life is, life itself, it may very well be an unwritten definition
that is only realized when you die, maybe that brief second before
you die it comes; how you lived it, what your values were...The
meaning of life could begin with the basic desires, to anything

doing this requires obedience of God and his commandments faithfully.

What does life mean? It means that over billions of years life
has evolved from the simpliest bacterium to present day human
beings. We are alive because of evolution and over time our speceies
has evolved into a living thing that can think for itself....there
is no meaning to life...we are alive.
Life has the meaning that you give it. If you want to live your
life to make money and buy nice things, do it. If you want a nice
family life, do that. Just remember that every experience you
have is priceless, and when it's over, you're not going to have
another chance. Don't ever second guess yourself, and let no one
dictate your life for you. You live to make yourself happy, and
in that end that's the only thing that's going to matter. As long
as you can look back on your years and be content that you did
everything you could to make your life as near to what you dreamed

a combination of destiny and reality made a contradictary statement.
Destiny and reality co-inside with eachother but if you believe
in destiny, then you believe in Free Will. Free Will is the ability
to chose the path you take in life. And truthfully, I believe
that both fate and destiny are one in the same. If you are religious
then think of it this way :Think of your favorite movie, and remember
a scene. Ok, you know that scene will happen, and yet it hasn't
happened yet. God knows it will happen, even though that IS what
will happen, but you have to understand, that it is still determined
on what you chose. So life is exactly and only what you make it.

Heres how I see life: You are stumbling around in an enourmous
maze, in total darkness, all the walls are painted black, and
you are blindfolded, while 6 billion other people are doing the
same. You have only feel and react to what is in your immediate
area, you cannot see at all the things you havent reached yet.
We wander around in the maze endlessly trying to find purpose,
trying to find an exit to an easier life, when in reality the
only exit is up or down, but you don't know what either direction
holds for you until you go there, and after that there is no coming
back. When you bump into someone you really like, you have to
hold onto them and never let go, otherwise you may never be able
to find each other again. Yeah, i know its kind of grim, but its
pretty accurate too.
Never take anything for granted, it can be taken away from you
anytime without warning.
Life is to love and to love is life, with a little beer and
sex on the side.
I'm not too sure of the meaning of life, but I know what life
is NOT about, and that is this: Life is NOT about being an authoritative,
pencil-pushing clerk in a dead-end managerial position at a university

God's hands took mine and we were silent for while and then I
asked. "As a parent, what are some of life's lessons you want
your children to learn?"
God replied with a smile: "To learn that they cannot make anyone
love them. What they can do is to let themselves be loved. To
learn that what is most valuable is not what they have in their
lives, but who they have in their lives. To learn that it is not
good to compare themselves to others. All will be judged individually
on their own merits, not as a group on a comparison basis! To
learn that a rich person is not the one who has the most, but
is one who needs the least. To learn that it only takes a few
seconds to open profound wounds in persons we love, and that it
takes many years to heal them. To learn to forgive by practicing
forgiveness. To learn that there are persons that love them dearly,
but simply do not know how to express or show their feelings.
To learn that money can buy everything but happiness. To learn
that two people can look at the same thing and see it totally
different. To learn that a true friend is someone who knows everything
about them and likes them anyway. To learn that it is not always
enough that they be forgiven by others, but that they have to
forgive themselves."
I sat there for a while enjoying the moment. I thanked Him for
his time and for all that He has done for me and my family, and
He replied, "Anytime. I'm here 24 hours a day. All you have to
do is ask for me, and I'll answer."
People will forget what you said. People will forget what you
did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
